chapter-2

How do you go about selecting a college that would be right for you? Consider asking about the enrollment process. What types of colleges are available and what are your educational options? What are college entrance tests, the different types of classes are available, what are instructional strategies. Learn about the offices on campus and what they do. Ask other women how they scheduled time to take classes and what traps should be avoided.

I’m interested in getting through your book because I’ve been considering taking some courses. I would like to do my schooling online. I’m hoping your book gives me some hints about that.

Online classes are an excellent choice for women who have children or are strapped for time. If this is your first attempt at college classes, then check out your local community college to see what they have to offer. Even if you have attended college before, I would still encourage you to check them out. Also be sure to find out if the course(es) you wish to take will transfer to your four-year college of choice.

Yes, I attended college many years ago; hence, the need for me to be reading your book! Thanks for the community college reference.
